Colour Study: Yellow
I was walking down the street once when I came across this bicycle locked to a post. Technically, yellow was not the focus for that day's colour study but I took the photo anyways since yellow has always been one of my favourite colours.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game
There is something to be said for spending a sunny long weekend afternoon watching a baseball game. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if the Jays had won.

And Suddenly the Impala Leaped
I am not a great traveler, but a few years ago I was lucky enough to find myself in Tanzania for a few months. While I was there, I went on a safari to see the great migration of wildlife on the Serengeti.

Colour Study: Blue
There is something reassuring about a night light, but there is also something eerie about blue lights. I guess that means that is why I find this particular night light somewhat reassuringly eerie.

Colour Study: Pink
I frequently take lunch hour walks. Sometimes I take my camera with me and take pictures of whatever strikes my fancy. Other times I choose a colour before I leave the office and only take photographs which include that colour. I guess you could say it's kind of like a "Having Fun with OCD" activity.
I took this picture at Toronto's Eaton Centre when the colour of the day was pink. I am always a bit leery when the colour of the day is not a primary colour, but you would be surprised how many pink or purple or orange items you can find out there.

Supermoon Over Metro Toronto
Last night the moon was as close to the earth as it ever comes. It shone brighter than usual and was something like 14% larger than usual. Like a lot of people, I sat on the balcony watching the moon as it travelled across the sky.
